Boys Brigade Conference 2003 (Fanfare)
This fanfare for Band, Fanfare Team and Traditional British Army-style Corps of Drums was composed to be the fanfare at this years National Brigade Council Beating Retreat at the Scottish Police College, Tulliallan.
The Boys' Brigade Centenary (1982)
This short march was written for the 4th Port Glasgow Company Band to commemorate the Boys' Brigade Centenary in 1983. It was written specifically for the instrumentation available namely bE Cavalry (valve-less) trumpets and bell-lyres. Some harmonies have been modified slightly from the original.

The Boys Brigade March on Ystad (2003)
During the summer of 2003, the Boys Brigade in Scotland were invited to participate in the Ystad International Military Tattoo, in Sweden. This piece was composed to commemorate this event. The Senior Pipe Major was Bob Lawson and the Senior Bugle Major was Donald McLaren.

I've been thinking for quite a while about getting an MP3 player, and by doing a little research, I've come down to the two of the best mp3 players within my budget.
Creative Zen Neeon 5 GIGs (RM 700+)
VS
iPod Nano 4 GIGs (RM 1'000+)
Creative Zen Neeon
Pros:
1. costs way cheaper than ipod.
2. capacity 1 gig more than ipod can offer.
3. easy drag and drop feature.
4. 18 hour battery life on a single charge.
Cons:
1. ipod beats it in style.
2. unable to automatically download RSS podcasts.
3. possibly annoying wheel/button.
4. not many accessories.
iPod Nano
Pros:
1. sleek and stylish.
2. cool user interface.
3. amazing amount of ipod accessories.
4. enables RSS podcasting!
Cons:
1. extremely expensive compared to the Neeon
2. scratches easily.
3. 4 gig Ipod costs more than 5 gig Neeon (by RM 300-400?)
4. needs an accessory to enable FM Tuning. (iTrip, anyone?)
5. might need iTunes to transfer songs?
6. 14 hour battery life on a single charge.
Still thinking. Also looking for good headphones soon. =D
